According to the National Centre for Hydro-meteorological Forecasting, on November 23-24, northeastern localities would have downpours with a rainfall of 20-70mm. The cold weather would then spread to the northern Red River Delta region and some northern central areas.

The temperatures in the northern region in this cold spell would be between 16-21 degrees centigrade.
Meanwhile, the central provinces of Nghe An, Ha Tinh and Quang Binh would have heavy rains on November 23-24 with rainfall of between 50-140mm.
Localities from Quang Tri and Binh Thuan would have lowest temperatures of 23-26 degrees centigrade.
Warnings of landslides and flash floods have been issued for low-lying areas during rain.
On November 23-29, the southern region has been forecasted to experience high tides, which would bring about severe flooding, particularly in HCM City and Can Tho.
