Starting this evening, the cold weather will affect the northern region. From tomorrow, November 19, the region will have rains with temperatures falling by between 3-4 degrees centigrade.

The northern and central regions of Vietnam have been forecasted to experience another cold spell with rains.
From November 20-25, the cold weather would spread to central localities from Quang Tri to Binh Thuan and become stronger.
Localities from Ha Tinh to Ninh Thuan and the Central Highlands region on November 19-23 would also see heavy rains with a rainfall of between 100-300mm. Flash floods and landslide risks have also been warned in low areas.
The East Sea would see a tropical low-pressure from November 18-20.
Nguyen Van Huong, head of the Weather Forecasting Department under the National Centre for Hydro-meteorological Forecasting, said that the temperatures of this year’s winter would be 0.5-1 degrees centigrade higher than last year.
