Cargolux representatives present the awards to the ACS.
The prize was awarded based on the improved infrastructure and responsibility of the ACS and its staff in providing cargo services.
Captain Mattias Pak of Cargolux said that the ACS was selected as the best transporter, particularly for dangerous goods in 2014, among 90 cargo service companies around the world.
The DGR Awareness Award is an annual prize founded by Cargolux to celebrate the excellent cargo service suppliers and airlines which serve Cargolux’s flights.
In 2013, the award went to ground service company ‘LUG aircargo handling’ at the Frankfurt Airport, Germany.
Cargolux, based in Luxembourg, is Europe’s largest all-cargo airline with a worldwide network covering 90 destinations and over 85 offices in more than 50 countries. It offers an extensive global trucking network covering than 250 destinations as well as charter and aircraft maintenance services.
The Cargolux DGR Awareness Award is granted each year following a joint decision by the Aviation Safety and Ground Services departments on the basis of data from Ground Safety Reports, Air Safety Reports, and any other relevant reports received.
