More than 94% of the National Assembly (NA) deputies on April 12 approved the Resolution on works in the 2011-2016 period of the NA, the State President, the Government, the PM, the Chief Judge of the Supreme People’s Court and the Prosecutor General of the Supreme People’s Procuracy.

The NA asked agencies to uphold their achievements, overcome shortcomings, make efforts in realizing assigned tasks and enhance the reforms.
The NA will focus on supervising the implementation of the Constitution, laws and resolutions, the activities of the State, especially in the fight against wastefullness and corruption, the use of the State budget, capital and assets, national monetary policy, traffic and safety and arising issues in society.
The State President should bring into full play his role as the head of the Sate to strengthen the national unity bloc and ensure the national independence, sovereignty, unity and territorial integrity as well as promote the diplomatic works to increase the national status and prestige in the world, and maintain the peaceful and sustainable environment for development.
The PM should focus on establishing a strong, responsible and effective Government and striving to propose measures to realize the five-year and annual socio-economic development tasks.
The Government should restructure and enhance the management of the State budget and public assets, propose measures to increase budget revenue and reduce budget overspending, deal with bad debts and Government debts, guarantee social security and welfare.
In addition, the Government need to encourage innovation, attract resources for development, consistently struggle for the national independence, sovereignty, unity and territorial integrity as well as strengthen the diplomatic works and international integration.
