Around 280 Vietnamese people from Europe have been repatriated through a flight of national flag carrier Vietnam Airlines.
The flight, which transported the Vietnamese people from Germany, the Czech Republic, Poland and Sweden, landed at Tan Son Nhat International Airport in HCM City on December 30.
The passengers are people who are the elderly, children under 18 years old, people with illnesses, and other people in extremely difficult circumstances.
Vietnamese representative agencies in these European countries helped the passengers to travel to Frankfurt for the flight as well as assisted them with boarding procedures.
All crewmembers and passengers were provided with health check-ups and quarantined in line with regulations.
