Missing crew members set to arrive home on Oct. 26

The nine-member crew and the fishing boat QNg 66478 TS were welcomed at 15:00 hrs on October 25.

The nine-member crew and the fishing boat QNg 66478 TS were welcomed at 15:00 hrs on October 25 by a working delegation of the Vietnam National Search and Rescue Committee.

They were expected to arrive home in the evening of October 26.

All the fishermen are in good condition.

Earlier, on Oct. 24, immediately after receiving the Vietnamese Foreign Ministry’s information on time and place to receive the crew members, the National Search and Rescue Committee sent a rescue ship to welcome them.

The Chinese side sent a fisheries administration boat to tow the Vietnamese fishing boat QNg 66478 TS and handed it and the crew over to the Vietnamese side on Oct. 25.
