Bahamas-flagged cruise liner Superstar Aquarius arrived at Chan May Port in the central province of Thua Thien Hue Tuesday noon. Around 600 people out of 1,449 passengers and crew started to explore royal heritages in Hue and nearby famous localities like Danang and Hoi An.

This is the third ship to dock at the Chan May Port since the solar 2012 year.
Nguyen Huu Tho, director of the port, said that in 2012, this deep-water port will receive at least 47 cruise liners with 92,202 passengers and crew members.
In March this year alone, the port is expected to receive 15 ships including the UK-flagged Queen Elizabeth with 3,000 people on board.
Meanwhile, nearly 2,000 international tourists arrived yesterday noon in Da Nang City via air and sea routes.
The luxury liner Costa Classica docked at the Tien Sa Port with over 1,700 passengers from the US, France, US, Hong Kong…
The tourists will explore the city and cultural heritages in Hue and Hoi An.
Earlier, the AirAsia airline had brought over 140 tourists from Malaysia to Da Nang.
It is estimated that between 28th of the last lunar month and the 8th day of the first lunar month, Da Nang will receive around 4,100 international tourists who arrive by air and 5,550 arrivals via sea routes, up 136% year on year.
Also on Monday, over 1,000 tourists from China visited Vietnam via the Lao Cai border gate.
Meanwhile, the Cam Ranh International Airport in the southern province of Khanh Hoa welcomed two aircraft carrying 251 visitors from the Russian Far East on the same day, reported Vietnamplus.
They hail from nine provinces of the Far Eastern regions on a tour which started since October 31, 2011.
