Vy is suffering big tumours on her back
Giang Thi Khoai, 25, Vy’s mother, said that some small spots appeared on her daughter’s back right after she was born. The tumours started growing bigger when she was at the age of one.
She was taken to a hospital in Hanoi where she was diagnosed with lymphangioma. Then she experienced surgery to remove a 4-kilo tumour.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Vy’s father became unemployed, while her mother was pregnant with the second child. Meanwhile, Vy’s disease relapsed. But, her parents did not know how to borrow money to send her to hospital.
At present, Vy’s spinal column and feet have been distorted by the tumours, making it difficult for her to move. Her dad often carries Vy on his back.
