Ho Chi Minh City has carried out viral tests on 2,916 people who had close contact with the latest four confirmed patients in the city and all the results came out negative.

The Ho Chi Minh City's Centre for Diseases Control (CDC) announced on December 5 that they had carried out viral tests on 2,916 people who had close contact with the latest four confirmed patients in the city and all the results came out negative.

"No more new infection cases have been reported in the past four days," CDC said. "All these people are still being quarantined and monitored for virus prevention."


According to CDC's director, Doctor Nguyen Tri Dung, the four new patients are being treated in a stable health condition. Only one of them has a sore throat and snuffles while the others have no symptoms of Covid-19.
