Under the proposal sent to the ministry and other concerned agencies, the department expects that the Ministry of Defence will send staff to assist the city’s 85 mobile medical stations until December 31. The stations now have a total staff of 153.

The military force have supported HCM City's Covid-19 fight
According to the department, HCM City has focused on boosting the operations of local mobile medical stations for Covid-19 prevention and control after it began easing Covid-19 prevention restrictions on October 1.
However, since then, some districts have been witnessing a sharp increase in F0 cases. As of November 29, the city had nearly 6,200 patients in concentrated quarantine zones and more than 66,800 patients being treated at home. Thu Duc City has been hardest hit with 20,522 being quarantined at home, followed by Hoc Mon District with 8,147 and District 12 with 6,327.
The Ministry of Health has also asked 14 hospitals to send staff to HCM City for the support.
