The Ministry of Health warned possible dangers of the natural birth which can kill both mothers and their children. Women have to go to hospital for medical check-ups during their pregnancy and their labour as well as after giving birth.
Associate. Prof. Dr. Vu Ba Quyet, director of Central Maternity Hospital, said that he was really shocked at the information about the death of the mother and her child in District 2. He strongly opposed the natural birth which poses obstetrical dangers such as metrorrhagia and breech presentation.
