The incident occurred at 5.45 am this morning, December 27, at the Tang Nhon Phu B Ward in Thu Duc City.

After discovering the fire, several people inside the building attempted to extinguish the flames but failed.
Many people successfully escaped the house as thick columns of smoke rose high.
Upon being informed, the local firefighting and rescue police officers and fire trucks were sent to the scene and quickly controlled the flames. However, two people had died.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
Last week, a fire happened at a rental house in Tan Binh District’s Xuan Hong Street, leaving two dead and 14 others injured.
