HCM City encourages recovered Covid-19 patients to support treatment
According to Nam, by September 1, 116,300 Covid-19 patients in the city were given the all-clear. After the recovery, these people have a high level of Covid-19 antibodies.
The city has considered recruiting them to assist in taking care of local Covid-19 cases. They will be paid for the job. They will be given antibody tests and those who are qualified will be provided suitable work.
Nam added that since August 30, up to 6,731 shippers in the city have tested Covid-19 with 64 tested positive for Covid-19.
To date, HCM City has recorded 9,724 Covid-19-related deaths. On September 1, the city’s Covid-19 fatalities fell to 217, lower than previous days.
Cu Chi District and District 7 have basically controlled the pandemic.
More than 6.3 million people aged over 18 have been vaccinated against Covid-19. Among those, 350,000 have been fully injected.
Following municipal authorities’ permission, as many as 22,124 shippers have registered to resume operations to help ensure public demand as the city’s ongoing tight travel restrictions.
