Covid-19 patients in Hanoi
At present, roughly 40,040 Covid-19 patients are being treated in Hanoi, with 93% of them displaying no or mild symptoms.
Hanoi authorities have requested localities not to hold events of mass gatherings during the Lunar New Year or Tet Holiday as a way for Covid-19 prevention. Residents have been asked to strictly conform to pandemic protocols, particularly those in high-risk areas.
Wards and communes need to set up mobile medical stations to support Covid-19 patients with mild symptoms.
Meanwhile, the city will continue boosting the Covid-19 vaccination campaign as well as provide Covid-19 treatment medicines for patients who quarantine themselves at home.
Hanoi Party Secretary Dinh Tien Dung has also advocated the establishment of the team which specialises in assisting Covid-19 patients at home during Tet.
