The expo is expected to attract the participation of more than 120 booths of businesses from 15 territories and countries worldwide, of which about 50 domestic enterprises will put their cutting-edge technologies on display to introduce production capacity, technical infrastructure, and logistics in the aviation industry.

During the event, there will be a high-level forum held on the aviation industry’s development and trips to industrial, logistics, infrastructure locations, airports, and high-class vocational training institutions in Hanoi and neighbouring localities.

Furthermore, a number of trade exchange activities will also be held to strengthen connectivity among businesses.

Tran Thi Phuong Lan, acting director of the Hanoi Department of Industry and Trade, said the expo is aimed at developing a network of production chains, service supplies, and high-end sustainable consumption in the aviation industry towards applying hi-technology in production.

The fair is anticipated to offer an opportunity for domestic and international enterprises to share their experiences, sign co-operative agreements, and gradually introduce domestic enterprises to participate in the global network of manufacturers, suppliers of aviation products, and services moving forward, said Lan.

At the press conference, Phan Bao Thi, a representative of Advanced Business Events Company, revealed that the expo marks the first time that such a large-scale aviation expo has been held in the capital, featuring the participation of some of the world’s leading aerospace companies such as Airbus, Boeing, Safran, Thales, Mitsubishi, and Parker.

About 50 foreign firms are expected to join the event to seek partners in order to develop production chains in the Vietnamese market.
