At a 10 September reception, Vice Premier Zhang Gaoli congratulated Vietnam on its renewal achievements attained under the leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam.

He reiterated the importance China attaches to its friendship and cooperation with Vietnam and highlighted recent progress in relations between the two Parties, States, and peoples.

Nghi said the visit aims to bolster Vietnam- China comprehensive strategic cooperation partnership and promote exchange and cooperation between their two capitals.
