Hanoi announces detailed planning for both sides of Nhat Tan-Noi Bai route

The Hanoi Department of Planning and Architecture on June 23 announced detailed plans for three sections of both sides of the Nhat Tan-Noi Bai route covering over 1,800 hectares and spanning 11.1 kilometres.

The Hanoi Department of Planning and Architecture on June 23 announced detailed plans for three sections of both sides of the Nhat Tan-Noi Bai route covering over 1,800 hectares and spanning 11.1 kilometres.

Chairman of the Hanoi People’s Committee Nguyen Duc Chung (centre) views the detailed planning model for the Nhat Tan-Noi Bai route.

The planning was approved by the municipal People’s Committee in Decision No. 6630/QDD-UBND dated December 2, 2015.

It aims to make effective use of the land foundation along both sides of the route and make a new modern urban face associated with finance, exhibition, culture and trade centres, creating a motivation for the development of Hanoi and the northern region of the Red River.

According to Chairman of the Hanoi People’s Committee Nguyen Duc Chung, the approval and announcement of the planning scheme is an important step in concretizing the Prime Minister-approved Hanoi capital construction master plan to 2030, vision to 2050 and other construction plans for urban subdivisions and Soc Son district.

It also provides a significant legal foundation for the establishment of construction projects along both sides of the route, Chung said.

He asked relevant departments and sectors to promptly carry out marker placement and publicise the planning, call for investment in subprojects, accelerate the process of land clearance and strictly manage land use and construction to ensure compliance with the planning.
