Hairstylist wins award at World Style Contest in France

Vietnamese representative Nguyen Truong Son won the Best in Color award on May 27 at the World Style Contest, which was held at the Les Folies Bergere theatre in Paris as part of the 2013 Davines Worldwide Hair Tour.

The Best in Cut award went to a Canadian competitor, while a South African won the prize for the Best in Stylist.

This is the second time Vietnam has triumphed at the event after Bui Duc Thinh won the Best in Stylist award in Barcelona, Spain, in 2007.

The Davines Worldwide Hair Tour is a leading hairstyle show and competition held annually in several famous cities including Milan, London, Miami, Berlin and Paris.

This year’s event attracted more than 1,600 hairstylists from 45 countries.
