At the opening ceremony, Tran Van Quan, Vice Chairman of the Hai Duong People’s Committee, underlined the province’s commitment to boosting trade by streamlining administrative procedures and supporting logistics.

He said Thanh Ha lychees meet VietGAP and GlobalGAP standards and carry geographical indications and traceability labels. The province is also proposing the fruit as a five-star product under Vietnam’s national One Commune, One Product programme.
Amei Vietnam JSC will handle exports to Japan, Red Dragon Co. Ltd will ship to Australia, and Fusa Organic Agriculture JSC will supply the European market.
Mai Xuan Thin, General Director of Red Dragon, said this year’s lychees have improved quality and appearance. The firm is preparing to expand into Canada and the Middle East.

Alongside exports, Hai Duong is promoting lychee-themed tourism. Orchards in Thanh Ha and Chi Linh are open to visitors, offering fruit picking and insights into certified growing practices.
According to the provincial Department of Agriculture and Environment, Hai Duong has 8,800 hectares of lychee orchards this year. Thanh Ha accounts for 3,285 hectares, Chi Linh 3,400 hectares, and other districts 2,115 hectares.
The province expects a total output of 60,000 tonnes.
