Danh suffers from kidney failure and has to go to Loc Ha General Hospital once every month for dialysis. Lien rarely travels outside and only stays home with the children. Everything depends on the little incomes as a bricklayer of Danh. Sometimes, they didn't have enough money to buy foods.
Over a week ago, Danh was working in another village when he heard that one of the children had a fever. On the way home, he lost control of the motorbike and fell hard on the road. He had a traumatic brain injury, spinal shock, cervical vertebra injury, and quadriplegic paralysis.
Dr Tran Dinh An at Nghe An Orthopedics Hospital said Danh's injuries were very serious and show little progress after a week.
"There's a chance that he will stay in the vegetable state. Even if there's any miracle, the treatment for it will be long and costly," he said.

"Sometimes, my brothers and sisters cried for our parents that made me cried after them. How long do we have to wait? I don't know what to do when my siblings cried for our parents," said 9-year-old Nguyen Thi Hai Huyen.
Dau Thi Huyen, chairwoman of the Fatherland Front Committee of Xuan Hai Commune said the committee visited Danh at the hospital and knew about his situation. They have called for donation but the money is not enough.
"We hope that they will get more help from the community and Danh will be saved," she said.
