On December 22, the police of Go Dau District and Trang Bang Town jointly raided Ben Kinh Village in Trang Bang and caught Dinh red-handed buying dogs from Gam, Thang and Khanh. The police seized two cars, two trucks, two sets of improvised electric stun guns connected to batteries, 20 triangular metal spikes, a mechanical scale, and over VND37 million in cash on the scene.
The group targeted households in different areas of the province, concentrating in Hoa Thanh Town and the districts of Tan Bien, Tan Chau, and Trang Bang. They used electric stun guns to capture their dogs. Each day, between 11 pm and 4 am the following day, they caught 30-40 dogs and transported them in cars to sell to Dinh.

The dogs are sold to Dinh at around VND400,000 (USD15.77) each.
Dinh then carried the dogs to Binh Duong to resell to others, collecting a total profit of VND4-8 million.
The Go Dau District police have announced that anyone who has previously had dogs stolen should contact them to support the investigation.
