Four staff members at Ho Chi Minh City’s Tan Son Nhat International Airport have tested positive for SARS-CoV-2, raising the total number of patients in the country to 2,005, the Ministry of Health reported on Monday morning.

According to the ministry's report, the four men aged between 28-41 work at the same unit with another staff at the airport who was previously confirmed as Covid-19 patient.
The four new patients are now being treated at the Cu Chi Field Hospital for Covid-19 patients.
As of 6 am on February 8, a total of 1,472 Covid-19 patients had recovered and been discharged from hospital. There have been 35 deaths, most of them being the elderly with serious underlying diseases.
At present, as many as 83,104 people who had close contact with Covid-19 patients or returned from virus-hit areas are being monitored at hospitals, quarantine facilities, and at home.
