A truck parked near the Thang Long Avenue in Song Phuong Commune, Hoai Duc District at 11 pm on September 10 and dumped the waste from the septic tanks into the environment. It was still bearing the For a Beautiful, Green and Clean Environment slogan on the side of the truck.
In the early morning of September 11, the police caught another truck which was also dumping waste near Dao Nguyen Bridge. The police found the Dong Da Environment Hygiene Company logo on the trucks.
Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Tuan Phuong said they had made reports and transferred the case to the local authorities.
In the coming time, they will continue patrolling to find other vehicles that are still illegally dumping waste.
