The couple Pham Thi Tan and Dinh Ngoc Hien in Yen Thanh District have five children. Four among those are living with poverty and have to be far from home to earn money. Meanwhile, her youngest child Dinh Thi Ngoc is battling mental problems.
The donation granted to the family
Tan said that Ngoc has faced the disease since she was in Grade 8. She often leaves home to wander in areas which are very far from home.
Despite being tightly monitored recently, she has still gone to local cemeteries to sleep or wanders off into forests.
She has sold everything valuable at her house to cover Ngoc’s treatment, but her condition has not yet improved.
In 2013, the couple were extremely shocked to find out that her daughter was pregnant. She then she gave birth to a daughter Dinh Thi Hong Anh. Until now, no one knows who Anh’s father is.
Three years later, she was pregnant again and she gave birth to the second daughter called Dinh Thi Hong Tuyet. Once again, the baby’s father remained unknown.
