On April 16, the donation was granted to Gia Thi My’s family in Meo Vac District’s Khau Vai.

My and her father
The donation came after an article about My’s condition had been published on Dantri/DTiNews. Currently, My is staying at the National Institute of Burns for the treatment of severe injuries.

The donation granted to My's father
My's father, Gia Mi Lung, 27, said he and his wife used to take their three children to the fields to work, because no one could help to look after them. While he was burning a pile of dry grass on the field, his daughter was playing nearby and she then fell into the fire. Despite being taken to a local hospital, My fell into a coma, so she was moved to the National Institute of Burns.
Over half of the child’s body has been burnt.
