The construction started at the house of Dinh Thi Nho’s family in Ninh Khang Commune, Hoa Lu District on Tuesday.

Construction starts at Nho's new house
The 60-square metre bungalow cost VND200 million (USD8,695). Half of the figure comes from the donation of readers through Dantri/DTiNews Online Newspaper, and the remainder is from Hoa Lu District’s Social Security Fund and some individuals and organisations.
Nguyen Quoc Hung, vice chairman of Hoa Lu District People’s Committee, who attended the house ground-breaking ceremony, said that Nho had to witness the death of both her husband and son within between September 2019 and December 2020. The shocks have caused her mental problems.
Nho is now living with her daughter and her parents-in-law.
After an article about her family was published on Dantri, many people have donated money through the newspaper to help her.
On behalf of local authorities, Hung expressed his great thanks for the support of Dantri/DTiNews newspaper as well as the readers.
He wanted to ensure the house was constructed quickly.
A doctor in Hanoi directly came to Nho’s house to provide free medical check-ups and medicine for her mental problems. Thanks to this, Nho’s condition has improved.
