Da Lat suspends illegal glass bridge project
The company already completed the anchored bulkhead and the towers that are 20 and 28 metres tall. When the authorities inspected the project, the workers are dealing with the cables and building the four metres high and 8x20 metre waiting room.
The inspectors found out that six three-needled pine trees were chopped down illegally inside the 270-square-metre protective forest.
The authorities asked the company to halt construction immediately. Da Lat People's Committee issued an administrative fine of VND40m for building the glass bridge without a permit.
