Over the past two days, some foreign media and social networks, mainly in Miami, the United States , have spread information that the health of the Cuban revolutionary leader worsened and even he died.
However, to date, the official organs of the Caribbean nation have given no news on this matter.
The CPI said that speculation may result from the fact that Fidel Castro, who retired from his post in July 2006 but frequently wrote articles reflecting his views on newspapers, has not written any stories since October last year, even after the historic event on December 17, 2014 when the US and Cuba decided to restore diplomatic relations.
