The Cao Phong District orange is well-known in Hoa Binh for its fresh smell, sweet taste, and beautiful yellow colour.

At the ceremony, Vice Secretary of Hoa Binh Provincial Party Committee, Bui Duc Hinh, said that this export to the UK highlights the province’s efforts to promote the Cao Phong orange to the global market.

Currently, Cao Phong is home to around 1,358 hectares of oranges with a total productivity of 20,000 tonnes per crop. Among those, many areas obey VietGAP quality standards.

In 2014, the Cao Phong orange was granted with a geographical indication certification, affirming its brand in the local market.
