This morning, May 26, a wild bull went on a rampage in Dai Lanh Commune, Quang Nam Province, killing one and injuring three.

The chairman of Dai Lanh Commune, Ngo Xuan Yen, said the bull had entered the village early in the morning and attacked a 21-year-old man, Pham Thanh Thien. Local people immediately took him to hospital for emergency treatment, but he died on the way.
After the initial attack, the animal continued to go after others in the village, injuring three. One of those injured is still being treated at Bac Quang Nam Hospital.
Mr. Yen guessed that the bull might have come from the mountainous district of Dong Giang. The bull was still lingering around other local communes as of 11am. Authorities and forest management boards there are taking measure to protect residents from the animal.
