The bridge, which runs from Thanh My Loi residential area to the island, has a total investment of VND347 billion (USD15.77 million).

The four-lane bridge is 837 metres long and 27 metres wide.
The bridge will provide an alternative route from Mai Chi Tho Street to Ring Road 2 and Phu My Bridge, helping reduce congestion on Dong Van Cong Street and around Cat Lai Port.
