Ailing man in Phu Tho in desperate need of support
A man in the northern province of Phu Tho is calling for support as he faces stomach cancer.

Hoang Van Hung, 52, from Thanh Ba District is now staying at K Tan Trieu Hospital for treatment. He has experienced surgery due to stomach cancer. Most of his stomach has been removed.

In addition to this current situation, his eldest child died when she was 11 years old. While his second child died when he was just three years old. Both of them suffered from heart problems. The couple tried to borrow money from different sources for their treatment, but their conditions worsened.
They then gave birth to three more children in 2001, 2003 and 2010.
But, unfortunately, their youngest son Hoang Minh Huy had the same symptoms as his late brother and sister. He was diagnosed with heart problems.

Huy was taken to different hospitals for the treatment, but he could not survive.
Huy died at the time when his father was undergoing the stomach surgery.
Meanwhile, Hung’s other daughter Hoang Thi Truc is living with kidney stones which meant she has had several operations.
Hung considered selling one of his kidneys to pay the hospital fees for his daughter, but he failed because of his disease.
His wife Chu Thi Oanh is suffering from a herniated disc. Doctors advised her to have surgery, but her family can’t afford it.
Doctor Tran Huu Canh from K Tan Trieu Hospital said that Hung’s treatment would be long and costly. He hoped that donors could support him.
