A representative from the HCM City-based Gia Dinh People's Hospital told Dantri/Dtinews on Monday morning that the woman who was seriously injured in a traffic accident late Sunday afternoon had died early the same morning.
"Despite being given intensive treatment, she died from serious injuries," the hospital representative said.
The car also hits nine other motorbikes which are waiting at a red light.
The 28-year-old woman was hit by a car while driving a motorbike at the Thu Duc intersection at 5.15 pm on March 16. The car also hit nine other motorbikes, which were standing at a red light at that time, leaving many other people injured.
A woman is injuried in the accident.
The driver, a 41-year-old woman, was detained as she was found driving in the wrong lane and tested positive for alcohol.
