Vietnam Airlines to host IAS 2024 International Airline Symposium

This year's event will attract the participation of roughly 60 delegates, including leaders of the aviation and non-aviation organisations from various countries around the world, as well as representatives from relevant Vietnamese ministries and agencies.

Prof. Nawal Taneja of Ohio State University, USA, will be the chair of the event as he has more than 50 years of experience in working and providing consultancy for major airlines and enterprises operating in the aviation industry around the world.

This year’s symposium themed "Navigating Aviation in a Never Normal World" will see four discussions on various topics, revolving around the changes and challenges faced by the global aviation industry.

Other common issues will also be addressed during the event, including the existing trends affecting airlines and ways increase the efficiency of operation and service quality, as well the application of the artificial intelligence (AI) in resolving hurdles faced by the aviation industry and handling passengers’ problems.

Hosting the event will give Vietnam Airlines the chance to receive advice from several of the world’s leading experts and discuss the latest trends and technologies in the aviation industry, in order to help it devise development strategies in the context of a volatile world.
