Speaking to Dantri/Dtinews Newspaper, Chairman of Tan Dinh Commune People's Committee, Ha Van Thang, said that the accident occurred at 9.30 am on January 7 when the cement tanker trailer was running down the Ban Hill.
"The driver lost control and the cement tanker trailer fell into a valley some 60 metres deep," Thang said. "Rescue forces have found two men dead inside the vehicle."
The official added that several traffic accidents have occurred when vehicles passed Ban hill. Initial investigations showed that the brakes of the cement tanker trailer might have had problems which led to the accident.
The cause of the accident is under investigation.
