The incident occurred at 12.15 am on February 14 at the XQ Vietnam Embroidery Workshop on Mai Anh Dao Street in Ward 8.
The scence of the fire
According to initial reports, the fire ignited in the reception area and swiftly engulfed the entire workshop. Onlookers attempted to douse the flames with fire extinguishers and water, but to no avail.
Two security guards managed to escape safely.
Upon being informed, the local Fire Prevention, Fighting and Rescue Police Department of Lam Dong Province deployed five fire engines and dozens of officers to the scene.
The fire was brought under control around 30 minutes later.
The blaze ruined numerous artistic embroidery pieces and various equipment and supplies.
