Many northern localities will be affected by cold weather from the evening of March 15, with temperatures dropping below 20 degrees Celsius.
The National Centre for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting stated that cold air will be more frequent and stronger than the long-term average this March. Three more cold spells are expected from now until the end of the month, though they will not be particularly strong. These cold fronts will bring brief periods of cold weather accompanied by light rain, drizzle, and humid conditions.
Heat waves are expected to affect some localities in the northwestern region by late April. Meanwhile, prolonged heat has already begun in the southern region since March.
