Imports mainly consisted of various types of meat, including meat and edible by-products after slaughter, frozen buffalo meat, frozen pork, and frozen beef.

Last year also saw Vietnam import 109,800 tonnes of frozen pork worth US$257.29 million from foreign markets, marking a decrease of 8.9% in volume and 12.2% in value compared to 2023.
