The event featured various activities including an exhibition and a parade which aimed at raising people's awareness on environment and natural resources protection and wildlife conservation.
Lam Dong Province is home to the Bidoup-Nui Ba National Park which is among four biodiversity centres in Vietnam.
According to the park's deputy director, Nguyen Luong Minh, Bidoup-Nui Ba has 2,077 fauna species, 131 types of mammals, and 304 types of birds.
21 rare and endangered species, seven globally threatened, have been found during a recent large-scale camera-trap survey at the park.
The park has also carried out activities to protect the species and raise people's awareness on wildlife protection including patrolling and removing illegal hunters' traps and sharing information about the wild plants and animals here.
