The new routes, which will be operated by Hai Van International Transportation Joint Venture Company’s HCM City Branch, are expected to help ease current congestion in the pick-up and drop-off areas in front of the airport’s domestic terminal.

There will be as many as 83 pick-up and drop-off stops for the routes, concentrating in urban areas, densely populated areas, hotels, and tourist attractions in different districts and Thu Duc City.
Each bus route will have 12 vehicles operating 24/7. Each vehicle has 16 seats.
The buses will be painted in distinctive colours and equipped with airport bus signage. Additionally, Hai Van will develop a ride-booking app for these routes.
Currently, only four bus routes connect Tan Son Nhat International Airport, and the demand for travel between the city centre and the airport is quite high.
