High tides are forecasted for HCM City from November 27-29 with tidal water rising up to 1.75 metres, causing flooding in low areas, according to the Southern Meteorological Station.

The tides, which are forecasted to rise to the highest level this year, will occur between 4am-7am and 5pm-7pm.
The station warns people to prepare for flooding in lowland and river-side areas in District 7 and Nha Be District.
Some streets may also face flooding including Tran Xuan Soan, Dao Su Tich, Huynh Tan Phat, Nguyen Binh, Le Van Luong, Pham Huu Lau, National Road 50, among others.
