The metro project has received all of the trains. The three-carriage trains are 61.5 metres long and can transport 930 passengers each.

To date, 88% of the project’s work has been completed.

Work on the VND47.3 trillion 19.7-kilometre route started in 2012 and the project was scheduled to be put into official operation in the fourth quarter of this year. However, due to various reasons, including the impact of Covid-19, the project has been delayed.
