The remainder will be used for the restoration of Tram Gian Pagoda in Tien Phuong Commune, with the focus on the three-entrance gate, main hall, stupa garden, auxiliary structures, lighting, and landscaping.

Nguyen Anh Duc, chairman of the Chuong My People’s Committee, said that the Tram Pagoda and Tram Gian Pagoda complexes were recognised as national historical and cultural relics in 1962.

The two pagodas are often referred to as part of the four iconic landscapes of Xu Doai, the former name of the ancient Thang Long Capital’s Son Tay Province, which was one of the first 13 provinces established in the North in 1831. Xu Doai also covered parts of present-day Hanoi, Vinh Phuc, Phu Tho, Tuyen Quang, and Hoa Binh.

On this occasion, Chuong My District will also construct a memorial exhibition hall at the Tram Pagoda complex to honour the late President Ho Chi Minh. The hall will cover approximately 30,000 square metres in the But Mountain area.
