Held in Tan Hung Ward, the 2026 edition, themed Spring of Connection, conveys a message of resilience and aspiration as the city enters a new development phase following administrative expansion.

The centrepiece is a 4.5-metre-tall horse mascot crafted from modern polygonal blocks, standing beside traditional bamboo imagery, a symbol of a self-reliant Vietnam that preserves its heritage while striving for breakthrough growth.

A life-sized herd of eight horses in a wood-grain finish charges forward, evoking the well-known blessing “ma dao thanh cong” (success upon the horse’s arrival) and symbolising unity and collective momentum.

Elsewhere, an iron horse inspired by the legend of Saint Giong features in the Triumphant Spring Glory to the Nation display, reflecting national spirit and strength.

The central installation draws inspiration from the city’s curving metro lines, representing connectivity and the driving force of a modern metropolis.

Sunflowers, symbolising longevity and good fortune, feature prominently, while a bamboo-themed exhibition offers insights into notable horse breeds, combining festivity with cultural education.

Workers are adding final touches along the Crescent Lake promenade. Though not yet open, residents were already strolling through, with visitors describing it as a favourite Tet spot for photos and spring outings.

The flower street will run until February 20 (the fourth day of the Lunar New Year), offering free admission to the public.
