PhuQuoc Express Company announced that its Thang Long high-speed ferry will increase operations from April 15 to June 15.
Weekly trips will rise from six to 12, with two daily return journeys except on Mondays. Departures are scheduled at 7.30 am from Vung Tau to Con Dao, and at 1 pm for the return leg.
Currently, the route operates only three outbound trips per week (Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays) and three return trips (Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays).
Alongside the increased frequency, the operator is launching a promotional fare scheme.
Passengers booking travel during the two-month period will benefit from ticket prices ranging from VND 410,000 to VND 950,000, depending on seat class.
According to company CEO Vu Van Khuong, the move aims to better serve growing travel demand while making island trips more accessible to both residents and tourists.
The route is expected to be particularly popular during the summer as travellers seek coastal and island destinations.
