The My Son World Cultural Heritage Management Board launched the new tourism products on September 25 ahead of World Tourism Day on September 27, under the theme 'Green My Son - A Journey through Culture and Nature'.

Accrding to Nguyen Cong Khiet, director of the board, the initiative aimed to promote responsible, environmentally friendly tourism while strengthening links between My Son's cultural heritage, Champa culture and the area's forest ecosystem and biodiversity.
Three new experiences have been introduced, including a botanical and medicinal plant garden under the My Son forest canopy, a space showcasing traditional crafts, and an exhibition and performance area for Cham musical instruments.
The programme is also intended to diversify tourism products, encourage visitors to spend more time at the sanctuary and raise awareness of nature and heritage conservation.
Truong Thi Hong Hanh, director of the Danang Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, said the new products supported the city's push for green and sustainable tourism.
She said tourism development at My Son should remain closely linked to the site's cultural, historical and architectural values and its natural landscape.
The city plans to use Cham culture as a foundation for distinctive tourism products, while supporting local livelihoods and promoting Danang to domestic and international visitors.
