The second competition night of the Danang International Fireworks Festival (DIFF) 2026 lit up the Han River on June 6, featuring spectacular displays from Vietnam's Z121 Vina Pyrotech team and French newcomer Lux Factory POK 2.0.

Representing France, Lux Factory POK 2.0 delivered a cinematic performance themed "Heritage - Danang Shines," combining vibrant colors and layered visual effects.

The French team skillfully used the surface of the Han River to reflect the fireworks, creating striking visual depth.

Multicolored titanium tail fireworks, soft falling leaf effects and glittering waterfall sequences transformed the night sky into a tapestry of overlapping images reminiscent of cultural heritage layers.

Their performance continuously surprised spectators, turning Danang's skyline into a captivating stage of light and color.

Meanwhile, Vietnam's Z121 Vina Pyrotech, representing the Ministry of National Defence, demonstrated why it was the runner-up at DIFF 2025, presenting a display deeply rooted in Vietnamese cultural identity and heritage.

A highlight of the Vietnamese performance was the recreation of the palm tree, a symbol of Phu Tho, the ancestral land of Vietnam's Hung Kings, using advanced fireworks technology.

The team also created fireworks imagery inspired by rice plants, an enduring symbol of Vietnamese civilization.

The show reached its climax as the sky above Danang and the Han River burst into brilliant colors synchronized with music, prompting spectators to sing along and applaud throughout the performance.

"Vietnam's Z121 Vina Pyrotech team is truly world-class. They did not simply perform fireworks; they awakened national pride through music. I was extremely proud watching their performance last year, and that is one of the reasons my family returned to DIFF this year," said Pham Van Lam, a visitor from Haiphong.

The Vietnamese team further impressed the audience with sophisticated water-level fireworks effects performed directly above the Han River, reinforcing its reputation as one of the festival's strongest contenders.
