The Miss World 2026 final took place in Khanh Hoa Province on September 5, bringing together 111 contestants from countries and territories around the world.
Following a series of performances and preliminary rounds, the strongest candidates advanced to the interview segment, which determined the competition's top placements.
Representing Vietnam, Le Nguyen Bao Ngoc impressed judges in two interview rounds. Her responses focused on environmental issues, public policy, humanitarian work and the role of young people in addressing global challenges.

In her first interview, Bao Ngoc spoke about Vietnam, Asia and the aspirations of young people to contribute solutions to global issues.
She highlighted the impact of climate change and conflict on younger generations, recalling encounters with farmers who had lost their land and families displaced from their homes.
Bao Ngoc said those experiences inspired her academic path. She is currently pursuing a master's degree in Environmental Science and Policy at Columbia University.
The Vietnamese contestant said she hoped to use the Miss World platform to promote environmental protection and humanitarian causes while pursuing a future career in public policy.
Her answer earned her a place in the final Top 6.
In the second interview round, Bao Ngoc was asked to define success. Responding in English, she reflected on her family background, professional journey and commitment to contributing to society.
Although she did not win the crown or a runner-up title, Bao Ngoc concluded her Miss World campaign with Vietnam's strongest-ever result at the competition.

The Miss World 2026 title was awarded to Joheirry Mola Dominguez, a 24-year-old contestant from the Dominican Republic.
Spain's Elisabeth Reynes Alabern, 22, was named first runner-up, while Malaysia's Taanusiya Chetty, 26, took the second runner-up title.

The remaining contestants in the Top 6 were Bao Ngoc, Snit Habteab Tewoldemedhin of Eritrea and Romanda Hombir of South Africa.
