According to One Click Travel, which serves many clients in Nha Trang, conditions in the city centre remain stable, with tourism infrastructure operating normally and hotels continuing to receive guests. Short-term flooding affected some suburban areas, but tourist zones were largely unaffected.
Anara Uralova, general director of One Click Travel, said the company has adjusted sightseeing schedules for safety and convenience, with some excursions temporarily rescheduled or replaced. Travellers preparing to depart have asked about recent floods in Nha Trang, but there have been no major disruptions or mass cancellations.
Artur Muradyan, CEO of Space Travel, said weather conditions have had limited impact on resort operations. Alongside Nha Trang, Russian tourists are shifting part of their winter demand to destinations such as Phu Quoc and Phan Thiet.
Andrey Podkolzin, head of public relations at ITM Group, said floods affected beaches from Nha Trang to Phu Yen and Quy Nhon, but hotel and resort damage was not severe. Authorities and tourism operators are speeding up beach clean-up efforts to welcome visitors soon.
The Russian Travel Industry Association has ranked Vietnam among the top destinations for package tours in 2025, with many well-known hotels already fully booked for the New Year holiday.
Data from Russia’s border guard department showed that arrivals from Russia to Vietnam reached 153,000 in the first nine months of 2025, five times higher than the 20,600 recorded in the same period last year.
