The accident occurred on March 8 when the visitor lost his footing during the climb, according to the management board of the Ba Den Mountain tourist area.
Rescue teams quickly travelled through the forest to reach the scene.
Medical staff provided first aid and stabilised the injured man before helping him down the mountain and transferring him to hospital for treatment.
The tourist had registered at a checkpoint at the mountain’s base before trekking along the designated power-line trail when the accident happened, the management board said.
Authorities noted that the route to the summit includes steep and uneven stone steps that can pose safety risks for climbers.

Visitors are advised to move carefully on steep sections, wear proper hiking shoes with good grip and consider using trekking poles for balance and support.
The management board also warned tourists not to leave designated trails or enter narrow forest paths, as this increases the risk of accidents and can make rescue operations more difficult.
